Yoga is an excellent therapy for relaxes and opens your mind. It helps you think better and perform daily activities in a more efficient way.  Therefore, it is recommended that everyone should do yoga to make their life better and healthier. It’s not a piece of cake to narrow everything down since there are more than 300 positions in the physical yoga practice. MOUNTAIN POSE:

Stand tall and straight with your feet together, shoulders relaxed, arms at sides, and weight evenly distributed through your soles. Now, start by taking a deep breath and raise your hands overhead, palms facing each other with arms straight. Now it is time to do the final step by reaching towards the sky with your fingertips.

DOG POSE:

Start by being in a dog pose that is, both the hands and the legs touching the ground and knees under your hips. Walk hands a few inches forward and spread fingers wide, pressing palms into the mat. Curl your toes under and slowly press your hips towards the ceiling, bringing your body into an inverted V, pressing shoulders away from ears. Hold for 3 full breaths.

PLANK:

Plank is one of the best yoga poses that teachers a person to balance his/her body and how to balance on our hands while using the entire body to support us. If you want to strengthen your abdominal, this is the perfect pose. To perform planks, tuck yourself under your toes and then lift your legs off the mat. Slide your heels back enough until you feel you that you’re in a straight line of energy from your head to your feet. Finish is posed by pulling your ribs together and breathe deeply for 8-10 breaths.

TRIANGLE:

If you want a flexible body, triangle pose is perfect for you as it stretches your waste, opens up your lungs, and tones your entire body. So let’s see how this pose can be done. Start by standing on your feet, one leg’s length apart. Open them by stretching your arms to the sides at shoulder height. Turn your right foot 90 degrees out and your left toes in about 45 degrees. Bring your right hand down and place it on your ankle, shin or knee (or a block if you have one) and lift your left arm up to the ceiling. Gaze up to the top hand and hold for 5-8 breaths. Lift up to stand and repeat on the opposite side.

TREE:

Tree is a wonderful standing balance pose for beginners. It helps the person enhance his thinking capability, opens the mind, increases clarity, and excellent for increasing focus. It’s very simple to do. Start with standing straight, with your feet together. Now place your right foot on your inner left upper thigh. Then press your hands in prayer position and find a spot in front of you that you can hold in a steady position. Hold and breathe for 8-10 breaths then switch sides by bringing the other leg in that position.
