Different views about “Is Multiple Sclerosis Fatal?”
I will share the data with a case study that why people think that MS is fatal and why it is not a deadly illness in my point of view with many others.
Why people consider it Fatal
Many of us think that MS is a deadly disease because of following reasons.
Difficult Diagnosis: Diagnosis of the disease is very difficult therefore, MS is a fatal disease. Thereby, delay in diagnosis means a delay in treatment which could be fatal.
Symptoms: Symptoms of this disease vary from person to person. It is an admitted reality that you cannot find two persons with MS with the same symptoms.
No Cure: Another bitter reality, which gives you a strong belief about the fatality of MS, is that there is no cure for this disease.
All these foregoing arguments are enough to prove that Multiple Sclerosis is fatal. Now, I will tell you that how it is not fatal and you can find a midway to spend your Healthy life.
Why I do not consider MS a Fatal Disease
First of all, I want to clarify that all of the aforementioned points are true but all these points are insufficient to prove the fatality of MS. You can spend a balanced life with MS. How MS is not fatal, let’s discuss
Diagnosis: According to Healthline, 75% of MS specialist said that 3 patients with MS are not diagnosed correctly every year. If a disease cannot be diagnosed in a right way then how can you imagine that it could be treated rightly? Therefore, the wrong diagnosis leads towards wrong treatment and increase the wrong perception of fatality of illness. Furthermore, in this modern era, diagnosis of MS is no more difficult, diagnosis of MS is possible by following techniques
- Blood test
- Lumbar Puncture
- MRI Test
Symptoms: I admit it that symptoms of the patient are not the same in any case, but a patient with Multiple Sclerosis can face following signs
- Blindness or Vision Issues
- Intermittent Pain
- Shaky and Wobbly
- Gut and Bowel Problems
- Memory Loss problems
Treatment: Cure of MS is not possible but a better treatment can allow you to spend a quality life.
So, don’t need to be disappointed about a cure, with treatment life can come back with the same colors. Enjoy
